Earth Right Now — The Live Discovery Engine is a Live Discovery Search Engine. It helps people search real places, see truthful live and current visual windows, discover what is nearby, decide what is worth exploring, and go with better expectations.
ERN’s public destination pages are designed to explain each place in crawlable text: location, source/provider, source type, currentness status, reliable check timestamps and related ERN destinations where available.
Why ERN exists
ERN began with a simple travel problem: a strawberry-picking place looked appealing online, but the reality on arrival was different from what the available photos suggested. That experience became the question behind ERN: what if you could see the place now, before deciding to go? ERN applies that idea broadly—from farms and beaches to cities, landmarks, parks, resorts, wildlife places and anywhere else a current view can help set better expectations.
Source principles
ERN does not treat every image as live. Live video, refreshed images, external sources, partner material and reference images keep distinct labels. A recently checked webpage is not proof that an image frame is current.
ERN acts as a discovery bridge and curator. Third-party streams and pages remain with their providers; ERN does not claim ownership of them.
Commercial principles
Useful Earth discovery comes first. Affiliate or sponsored travel options must be disclosed, and payment does not determine which Earth views ERN ranks as the best current windows.
More than cameras
ERN also develops a reviewed path for small local places, camera owners and temporary visitor Now Moments. These layers remain separate from editorial ranking and never turn a commercial relationship into a “best” Earth view.
Reviewed local-place entries use a bounded verification horizon. When a review becomes too old, the entry stops appearing as reviewed until it is checked again.
